I used to think this, but I don’t even think that will turn the tide now.

Even nice white “Christian” children dying or being gunned down doesn’t register b/c “it’s god’s will” or some such nonsense.

This was almost exactly my first thought. Certain factions don’t care about our kids dying of hunger, being gunned down or not getting health care, so why should this be any different for them? Revolting, but true.
