one really funny clash of mindsets on social media is the conflict between people who use the apps as a dumping ground for stray thoughts and do NOT consider the posts important, versus the people who think Posting means Caring About The Subject

Idk if I got this somewhere and forgot but I think of it as voidposting. Unless I'm replying to someone, it's just a place to throw some words out of my brain because I foolishly left my journal somewhere and do not wish to speak to a person about what's in my head at the moment
Schrödinger’s post !! both a fleeting brain blip and a manifesto, depending on who reads it. Some of us are just throwing spaghetti at the wall; others are drafting the Constitution. Social media: where casual musings become court exhibits.
"And yet you wrote an entire post about it" I don't think you understand. My brain is completely broken. Writing ten posts is easier for me than getting up to grab a glass of water.
i often write so many posts about so many things in under a span of like 10 minutes that I make myself disregard because otherwise someone will look at my feed and think im insane
my brand of posting here is usually "I thought this was really funny and there's a slim chance someone else with think it's funny too so better I post about it and see if I'm right"

#PostAtYourOwnRisk
no diary to express
no friends to vent
i would loathe to only live through public posts and nothing else
