In Denmark you can't even get it privately 💀 I had to start through Portugal, then last year was accepted to the gender clinic, and after being underdosed for months, I switched to diy injections

We operate on "you're still valid without healthcare" logic so I suspect that part would be independent of the hospital's judgment
