I've still yet to see a single thing more "sexualized" at a Pride parade than someone just standing around not wearing a shirt. Frankly they could stand to be more sexual. Add a bit of grit and texture, scare the bankers a bit.

The only 'danger' to kids I saw at Pride was the religious protesters getting way too close to the kid's play area and making parents uncomfortable. We contained them with a rainbow banner until they left

Homophobes always get a heckler's veto with liberals. They're in favor of gay rights, but only on terms that homophobes are comfortable with. We don't want bad optics or to push people too far. And yes this goes for relatively privileged gays who live in deep blue States and never worry.

They live upon the pile of treasure that radicals created for them and then complain about the radicals and talk about respectability. A generation ago, they would have dying of aids, or beaten by policemen for going to a gay bar. There would have been no gay dating sites, just the bathroom.
