Grabbers are cheap too, to save yourself from having to touch any trash! I've done this before, it feels really good, but you fill the bag so fast ^^;

Always do this along side the road near me (People chuck things out the window) and when I walk up to the nature reserve (Always builders chucking things). If you have an old plastic carrier, use that! Much easier to wash for when you have surprise milk explosions or other gross liquids.

It’s shocking how much trash a place has even with fines for littering. I like keeping bags in an old prescription bottle just for this! :) Even a little bit helps!

I do this from time to time and just did so recently behind my workplace! Lots of litter just strewn about the forest edge that nobody but me ever sees. Even scattered some native wildflower seeds afterward.

This is such wonderful advice. It really, truly makes a difference. The effect compounds: when a space is clean, it discourages more littering!
