could have been interesting if the sonau/zonai turned out to be ancient lynels tbh (since the barbarian armor is about the sonau in botw .. which totk completely threw out the window)
i am also reworking the sonau entirely though and put too much work into them already to change it now :(

I just think lynels' apparent high intelligence isn't fully utilized. I understand you just need sub-bosses more dangerous than the rest, but it's a shame lynels had to be one dimensional.

demise has been dead since skyward sword so he doesnt have any influence anyway- i personally never read monsters as being strictly controlled by anyone either, just summoned/revived by whoever the antagonist is, so its really just that they are very territorial and brabant doesnt care about that 😅
