A lot of conspiracy theories out there, so why does RFK JR choose the CIA conspiracy theory. Soviet Intelligence paid U.S. lawyer M. Lane, author to whip up talk of alleged CIA involvement...e.g., Rush to Judgment, 1966. Soviet Intelligence spread rumors of CIA b/c it lessened attacks on them.

I spent a summer reading JFK theories when I was in grad school, for a project on DeLillo's novel "Libra."
There are more conjectural parties responsible for shooting JFK than there are living Kennedys. CIA, Mob, Castro, KKK, FBI, Russians - combos - believing any for certain is deranged.
