The current approval rating for Dems by all voters is 27% and 11% by independent voters. All time low. The party has a chance to take the Senate and House at midterms but not without a platform that makes sense to people and produces the outcomes Americans want.

Indeed. The revelation of the Bernie/AOC rallies is not so much that they’re drawing ginormous crowds, though that is pretty cool. It’s that those crowds are in deep red areas. And they’re talking basic life issues, stuff people need to get by. That’s all of us.

We KNOW people need good Healthcare. We can argue about how we accomplish it. But we know it's right. The GOP doesn't. Its like that for all our beliefs. We can discuss the best ways to implement them. But moving to center means giving up some things we know are right.
