The Conduct of Major Maxim - possibly the only spy thriller to have a climax on #Goole Docks. The Secret Servant was, of course, made into a TV serial starring Charles Dance.

I recall being a little disappointed but probably because what they do on screen never matches the movie you built in your head. It was at least all done on film.
