I live in San Diego County and thank god my Representative is a Democrat and thank god I live in a blue state. However, my blue district borders a deep red rural and suburban district (it is even redder than Texas and Florida and Democrats struggle with those states) in San Diego County.

Sara Jacobs is my representative.😁 That said, I wish Darrell Issa was removed from office. Last week, I called Sara Jacobs office and a staffer responded and we had a 3-4 minute conversation and my Democratic representative is on the same page as I. Issa's office? I left a voice mail message.

In summary, I feel happy 4 the Democratic voters living in blue districts and/or blue states but feel bad 4 Democratic voters who live in red districts and/or red states. The former are like people having caregivers while the latter are like people having criminals holding them hostage or in prison.

You sound like you want to pick a fight. But I’ll bite. People can move. People thought they’d be cute and move to red states after 2016. You know what happened? Blue states lost electoral votes and red states gained. The decennial census was in 2020. Therefore it made it worse for us in ‘24.

On the contrary, I do not want to pick a fight with you. However, you do make good points. That said, the electoral college needs to be abolished or at least reformed (e.g., proportional to the popular vote in states) but that will probably not happen.
