I don't think my conference talk about homophone attacks against screen readers has been cited anywhere. I've been told by several people that it made them better at securing their blind and low vision users.

I have many issues with the Retraction Watch piece in the Atlantic. One is the point the Carl makes. They assert that many papers go uncited--disregarding that the linked source points to wildly different citation patterns between fields--and breezily state that uncited research serves no purpose.
