I’ve spoken to people who are happy to see chaos- either it works and things improve, or it doesn’t and the other parties hear their concerns at last. Or it goes completely shit- but these people believe there is no way they could have a worse life than they do now.

I really hope you're wrong. I'm trying to be optimistic but every new day, every new move they make (the list of 'banned words' in applications for science grants is horrific!) makes me more depressed for the future ☹️
