Ok people need context. We were talking about the movie Airplane and how it’s absurd. Compared to that 3 is more of a traditional comedy. Big comedy stars inserted into a 2 line plot, laughter follows. Absurd is Naked Gun, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Spaceballs etc
