The simple solution is to just export everything to youtube, but that's going to be SO MUCH WORK for some folks if they want to preserve everything, and to ask them to do it in just 2 months is super harsh.

MAN yeah, it really is such short notice, huh... thankfully Twitch does have the one-click 'export to YouTube' button, but it's still a lot 😭

Exactly! That export button is great if you use it after every stream, but it gets W E I R D if you try to move multiple videos at once. Setting up my vods channel with my backlog was simple, but very tedious. And that was with just 30ish videos! 😅

I can't say I'm shocked though. Forgive me for being boomer on main but you should never assume that a digital platform is going to hold on to stuff forever. If you care about digital media, download a copy for yourself and keep hold of it just in case.
