I suppose the main interesting thing in that very 90s sitcom one (as well as "Dad's can't look after babies", there are no less than three jokes about the Doctor and Craig being gay), is the end scene is officially the only time River Song is written by someone other than Moffat.

I say officially because that was almost certainly a Moffat written bit, but I think she still has to be the character in Who with the most appearances by the least writers?

There's no other regular reccuring character who is so much one author's vision.

Wild they wasted the Cybermen on that though. Sometimes you wish they had an agent representing their creators' estates as determined as the Nation one. Not every new Who Dalek story is great, but they'd never get made the stooges of a wacky comedy episode.

Also funny to read that, though it was only a coincidence, the production team were glad the script only needed knackered Cybermen because all the 2006 costumes were basically fucked at this point and there was no money for new ones.
