Right, decided to do a very slow and casual Big Finish main range Who relisten, and to do reviews on here to keep me going.
Starting with The Sirens of Time. Infamous for other writers Big Finish were courting thinking having Nick Briggs do the first one was a mistake and said so to his face.

Always fun to hear the late great Maggie Stables in a non Evelyn Smythe role.
It does a lovely job of celebrating the past and promising something new. I can’t imagine a better way of starting Big Finish.
Which makes it a waste of bringing the three Doctors together, they just trade technobabble with each other.
Oddly, Sylvester and not Peter is the one struggling to refind his groove.
It's the most Mark Gatiss thing that his first Doctor Who script is basically exactly the same as if he'd writen it in 2017, the same year as his last. No writer has ever so found their groove and stuck to it that hard.
The main flaw (that most of the returning companions will suffer from) is Mark Strickson is out of practice at acting and is given dialogue so out of character Turlough actually goes "This is out of character for me!"
