Every now and then I test some work thing in ChatGPT to see if maybe possibly it would be useful for something. The last time I did this, I asked "Deep Research" to determine where the porn in the thousands of JFK files released by the archives was, which was a tip I got from a govt worker

1) could not find the porn
2) invented other stuff that was not in the documents and said it was in the documents

Similar mistakes like this in data like what I just described would be potentially catastrophic if published. It means I need to manually check and do everything anyway

Another example: I had a 100 page pdf to parse for an ongoing beef with my landlord about some complicated California zoning stuff. I did not understand the document so I thought maybe ChatGPT could help me parse it so I would at least know what type of lawyer/expert I would need
