PIP discontinued: Patient is informed although no re-assessment was done. Is appealing on those grounds. But I genuinely don't understand how a decision can be made without an assessment. Is it a case of disallowing in the hope that not many will, or have the ability to, appeal?

I’ve struggled with depression for 11 years. No one can predict when things will break out. You can’t control it, you just have to get by.

How this can be encapsulated on a form is beyond me.

If we properly retrofit homes for vulnerable people there would be no bills and that would reduce the benefits bill. For ever. And they would be comfortable and in better health. Oh and it would save thousands of tonnes of CO2

Fortunately, I enjoy good mental health, although I believe anyone not suffering bouts of anxiety in the current climate would warrant scrutiny.
