Women would have equal power and wealth as men. There would be roughly equal men and women in positions of political and financial power. Women’s work would be seen as just as important and valuable as men’s work. Women would be seen as normal people and men would relate to their experiences.
So based on your analysis, a man who works 1000 hours and a woman who works 1 hour should have the same buying power? Or should the woman be forced to work 1000 hours just like the man before she gets equality of outcome?
Nice strawman you created there. 🙄 Nobody is arguing that. They are saying if men and women were truly equal, you would see about equal numbers of them in positions of power and wealth. The fact that men have way more power and wealth means they still have more advantages in life than women.
That’s not the case as more women get stuff by looks alone rather than social status while guys get stuff by social status and not looks and are therefore incentivized to work harder.
A system that was 50/50 everywhere is social engineered, not truly equal, as the choices differs based on goals.
