By the way, I did research on healthcare systems a few years ago and I found that it was possible for a small country with as few as 3 million residents to have a national healthcare system.

Montenegro has a population of ~620k, healthcare is free under the national healthcare system and is tax-based. Germany has over 80 million and has obligatory health insurance, which is relieved via social benefits if you can’t afford it. The USA is simply getting a very very raw deal out of choice.
