Do you have lore for how familiars work? Like do all the witch students have them? Do they pick them? That's assuming it's the same universe as the other OCs you posted recently.

so far all the students have one! most witches come into contact with one in a more meaningful way, but a few others were intentionally picked out or bought 🫡 either way, they form strong bonds and help each other
as for a deeper lore, im toying with the idea of the familiars having a more powerful form but im not sure if it'll be more "spiritually" or physical form. they also are cognitively aware and capable of understanding humans and emotions more than a typical animal/pet
