I heard @michaelsteele.bsky.social and @iamsophianelson.bsky.social define what "woke" actually means, as in "awake" and "alert", and how it's been distorted by the right and MAGA.
Call me woke then. Much rather be alert with these folks than a MAGA moron in a Republicoma.

Agreeing this is a reflection of partisanship, though it also could reflect that Ukraine is likely not a top issue for most people, so they could be more likely to change views when their leaders do. It’d be interesting to know if a leader flipped on a more salient issue what the impact would be.
