BTW, green is caused by certain minerals occurring naturally in the clay, or the addition of copper oxide prior to firing.
Think of verdigris on copper roofs.
Whenever I see that green on a roof or, more likely here, gutters or a light fixture, I assume it's copper. Is that a fair assumption? Or are there imposter metals?
