If you all hear about attorneys taking on these civil rights cases pro bono, I’m willing to donate my time, too. I’m a Legal Assistant with an ABA certification.
With all due respect, I can never support anyone who suggested we as black people sit out the 2016 presidential election unless they have since demonstrated profound remorse and profusely apologized and publicly explained to people why that was a terrible idea. I haven't seen that from Mr. Petty.
At the same time, recognizing the greater mission and the need for the greater good, I wish him success in all his efforts to educate the people about what's going on. I don't want him to fail. We need all the help we can get right now, even though people like him helped put us in this mess.
Anyway, I'll try to be more positive when I can. I just joined this site on Sunday and followed Native Land Pod then. I saw it hadn't been active in a while, and then checked on Angela's name (being listed first in the description) and saw she wasn't here. So I assumed you and Andrew weren't either.
But then just this morning I finished Native Land's latest full-length podcast on corporations ending DEI and boycotting, and at the end when you all asked Angela when she was getting on here I realized you and Andrew must be here. So here I am. I appreciate you enormously and I'm about to follow.
Wait, I don't see Andrew either. What I saw was some fake page out of Czechia. Please tell Angela and Andrew to get on here too before they get their identity stolen 😂. But I'm still happy we have you, and I'm now a follower. You're a gem. Please keep up the good work.
We’d be better off if we all locked down—went on strike, stayed home, and stopped spending—until DJT and everyone who gained power because of him are forced to resign. Hit them where it hurts: their bottom line!
