Anyone who's ever looked at the history of the Nazi regime and repeated the "First they came for the Communists..." verse from Niemöller, should think about where we are right now and what they are doing and saying.

And then recognize why they are attacking Palestinians, trans people, and undocumented people with criminal records. All the good middle class Germans didn’t like communists, and so didn’t mind, and then they found out.
