Ah yeah, that makes sense. I've been doing things like all the numbered Resident Evils (up to 5 now), replaying the main Mario platformers etc.

I haven't properly caught up on them, many of them I reviewed and would like to replay without my critical brain whirring the whole time. Would be nice for these games to have a new title coming out where I can go "yeah, I've played all the previous ones!"

I love Ass Creed but I couldn't get through Valhalla. It was SO big that it was just overwhelming. Id play for 90min, then look at the map and see that Ive only unlocked a TINY portion. I ended up giving up because it felt just... daunting?

So looking it up again, there is acknowledgement that the overall map in Odyssey is bigger, but much of it is ocean. Overall land size seems to indicate that Odyssey is slightly bigger than the two maps in Valhalla.

Valhalla is probably filled a lot more though.

Ahh yeah that checks. Yeah I just felt like Valhalla was insurmountable. I like to explore and go and open up viewpoints and do side stuff first. But I'd play for a decent chunk of time and open the map and hardly anything is different to before. It was TOO much

It also felt kind of harder? Like, I feel like they wanted me to make decisions early on that I didn't really know how to make? Especially when I stopped playing for a bit and came back and had no idea what I was up to. It told me to pick a territory to fight or whatever, but I had v little context

Yeah, that's my next one lol. I have heard it's smaller than Odyssey which I am hoping is true. It might honestly be one of those ones I play for a week, then finish something shorter, then go back to it for another week, repeat etc.

SURELY not smaller than Odyssey??? I played all of Odyssey though, I loved it.

I didn't like Mirage at all though. I think I just didn't vibe with the setting/characters?

Im keen for Shadows next week though.
