Corbyn's luckiest escape was never having power. He can now sail off into the sunset as a glorious "would've been" leader. Where with power he'd have either had to compromise so much his core following would've rejected him, or caused a Truss like disruption to the markets & get kicked out

I'm a fan. He's certainly made a number of missteps since coming into office on the domestic front, but I'll take his sensible, steady-as-he-goes approach anytime. It's exactly what this country and the world needs right now.

Corbyn? For God’s sake, that wannabe Fidel Castro would have driven the UK into an economic disaster on a Trussian scale. His entire manifesto was a collection of unachievable promises, topped only by the ugly antisemitism that plagued his leadership.

You don't need to be a fan. You like the policies, you vote for him. To be a "fan" is treading cult territory. So what if he is a vessel, ultimately the name on the achievements or failures will be his.
