I remember (then Senator) Al Franken on Daily Show talking about friendships with GOP colleagues and their families (Jess Sessions was an example).

Cruz's name came up, and he said: "I probably like Ted Cruz more than anybody in the Senate....and I HATE Ted Cruz!"
