Actually, Canada would probably be better off out of this automatic intelligence-sharing arrangement, which involves mass spying on each others' citizens. As would we. Not least because its dominant member is now playing for the other side.

1. We can't trust where our Intel will end up
2. We can't risk the lives/liberty of our HUMINT sources or operations folks by asking them to act on Intel provided by dubious sources (Trump admin).
