I’d like to know the genesis for this in the programme for government; who pushed for this roll back? Women need to know the true character of the people, mainly men, making up this government. (Sorry if it’s in the article, I don’t have access to it)

It doesn't say, it mainly discusses the merits of therapy and the need for a safe space to talk, how therapists take the least notes possible for fear they'll be used.
I don't get where GDPR is in all of this!!

So I just looked into it. The new minister for justice is fianna fail and male. He is actually hugely qualified for the position but seems very concerned that the accused have access to the counselling notes and a fair trial..... I've emailed him and my local TD.

Appears to me to be a lack of will to proceed with it rather than a particular desire not to do it, if that makes sense. Helen mcentee had committed to it but she’s out of justice

I still can't believe a rapist/paedophile's personal reference for a buddy can be enough to allow a convicted paedophile/rapist to walk free on a suspended sentence.

There must be a large sexual predator's circle in Ireland, a very powerful one.
