Govt politicians keep throwing out ESB & weather stats about #StormÉowyn as if to impress us: We *know* how bad the storm was; we lived through it, and its aftermath.
The ESB is doing its job of looking after the powerlines.

Local communities were left to their own devices, full stop.
People moving in with friends & family who have power, or staying in hotels and AirBnBs. (€€€)
There was a massive need for temporary shelter, but none was provided by local government. People fended for themselves.
