What a joyous read! Thank you for compiling all this and sharing. The idea of RE2 on GBA is wild. Really gives, 'how did they even manage to get RE2 on the N64 again?' vibes. Maybe RE2 should be the new Doom and we just try to put it on everything.

Excellent thread! I've not looked into it too deeply but I hope those mobile games are archived online somewhere. One day I'd like to make an effort to at least give some of them a go.

Thank you, Psy! Same. I'm pretty sure at least some of the Java games are playable, but not all. I haven't looked into it too deeply either tho. If Degeneration and RE4 Mobile are playable somehow I'd leap at the chance to.

There is active preservation of Japanese feature phone games with a few new games being dumped fairly regularly, but Not sure about the RE stuff though. I followed a few accounts on that other place before I made the switch.

There wasn’t really a lot of interest in that scene until it became a 5 alarm fire with services shutting down. Some dedicated people figured out how to dump games from some phone models though and some emulators available. Buying junk phone and crossing fingers for new stuff current status iirc.
