Beloved, you’re at a party— go get a shot. Cop a ticket to the tour if you want to hear the hits. You’re boring because you expect artistry to have bounds that sociologically speak to what can’t or shouldn’t be done.

What a lot of Black folks won’t admit but will always strongly imply is that they like it when Black folks shuck and jive. It makes them feel comfortable too.
