Sticking to a bad idea out of stubbornness isn’t leadership.
Labour have their heads in the sand - if they were serious about growth, they’d listen to @eddavey.libdems.org.uk and negotiate a new customs union.

What a disappointment they are.
I was so depressed during 14y of Tories.
Briefly elated at their defeat on 5/7/24
Now my political ‘black dog’ is back.
Labour dogma matches that of the Tories.
I can only hope for a 2029 hung parliament & a LibDem / Labour coalition (not 2010 version)
#Labour backed Brexit
Protected Public spending more than if Labour had been in office - they promised deeper cuts.
And now
#Labour are as bad as Tories on Brexit, spending and welfare.
#libdems inveted triplelock and protected winter fuel.
Reneged on PR, Lords Election, Tuition fées, Brexit, More Airports, Leveson2,
Right to protest, no action on BBC or GBN.
You can stuff your red Tories where the sun don't shine!
Now we see the newly reinvented Red Tories
They know it will split moderate Tory voters. And it will force Reform to back a stance that is becoming increasingly unpopular with the electorate.
But, i want to rejoin now.
And then rejoin.
