I would prefer that Greenland become independent. That said, I'd prefer they stay with Denmark where they have NATO protection until we stop Trump.

I don't have any hostility toward your valid ideals, but I believe that is illogical. You and maga are on the same coin, but different sides. You claim it is yours, they claim it is theirs. Your people may have been wherever longer, but that does not make it their land. Nor does Musk or trump(1/?)

Buying land or stealing land make it theirs, or me being in my house make it mine. The land is the land, it can't be owned, and we are not bound to it. Why? I would suggest making people who have not had birthright in an area for 100 years to where they are from. But it just doesn't make sense. I don't mean to shit on you, I just want you to understand the land is all of ours, that's how I see it, and it's our bad luck we live where trump does now

I agree, although I did hear most of the Indigenous people in Greenland are fine with being in Denmark. I mean Denmark treats them well (at least from what I've seen) and far better than how the US would.

The last number I have seen is that 70% wants independence…in theory.

Greenland has an agreed route to independence from Denmark but they still haven’t set it in motion because most fear that independence from Denmark would mean a drop in living standards.
