Do as much research as possible on the department (and uni) that is interviewing you - that way, you will have important context for their questions to you and you will also be able to ask good/informed questions of your own (& show you take them very seriously, have done your homework)
Thanks!! I've been researching their curriculum and stuff, will probably rehearse some common interview questions showing that I've done my homework there! π
You could also take a look at specific research projects (both current and past) conducted at their department and try to highlight a link between them and your knowledge/skills, and to show how your expertise could enhance their research agenda. The best of luck with your interview βΊοΈπ
Realize that you will bring your full self to the interview, that youβll be well prepared, and that so much of the job market is beyond the scope of you as a candidate. Itβs cliche, but trulyβfit is out of your control- so all you can do is your best
