I 100% agree with you re Gaza. BUT, Aleppo, just one city attacked by Putin, is the same size population as Gaza, only more dense at 73 Sq m to Gaza's 140 sq miles, where Putin deliberately targeted civilians & hospitals. He's doing the same in Ukraine. It shudn't be either/or. They are both evil.

I've posted those quotes, so we're on the same side. Perhaps it is that I've spent time in Syria, where its people & world heritage sites were destroyed. It went off the radar & ISIS was allowed to happen by the West to see off Assad. Just praying that his backers don't ruin the peace.

I visited post the Iraq war. There were folk iving in Roman villas in the dead city. Roman Palmyra & its funeral towers were unique. Alleppo's citadel was glorious. In Demascus you walked under Roman arches. It was/is vital to identity. But Syria didn't hv the equivalent of the Palestinian campaign.

Putin is a psychopath. He has stolen billions from state businesses, he is a dictator in all but name, he has opponents murdered, often horribly (e.g. Litvinenko). As to which of the two history will judge to be the greater monster, we can’t know, because we don’t know all the shit Putin has done.
