Tom Hardys take on Venom has been excellent since the first installment. These movies are "THE" only successfully Spider-Man Cinematic Universe movies.

His take, is the sole reason why the franchise has spawned two sequals. He deserves alot of credit.

It’s absolutely my opinion that this particular story line should have been the first movie. (Minus Knull in every respect).

The Symbiotes that came down in the first film should have taken agency of some of the scientists, and we should have started the series off with banger fights.
