Folks with screen tablets. What's your setup like? Been trying to figure out a way to set up mine without ruining my shoulder or bending my neck 90° but it's been a fucking struggle

Unfortunately I got one without the mount option, so I'll have to figure out some way to make it work with an adapter since I was planning to use it that way.
But generally speaking, I usually draw with the screenless one laying flat on the keyboard, so it's as far as the conventional screen usage as possible. Been trying to figure out ways to use it tonight and my neck and shoulder ended up sore as shit
Im assuming this tablet must be one of the smaller ones, you can still get a pretty decent arm without the monitor mount on the back, though these are more difficult to find, and are normally meant for Ipads, but from experience with my old tablet, it worked just as well
i dont much care for the gimbal/armature style monitor mounts, they tend to need constant readjustment or tightening unless you really shell out for one.
This is a rough approximation of what i have going on mine and im pretty happy with it.
as someone with a 3x monitor setup, save for a better desk.
the desk itself is the foundation to anything you hope to put on it. If that foundation sucks, youre working against yourself, trying to forcefully interject ergonomics into a non-ergonomic space. Throwing good money after bad essentially.
Once you have a desk you like and fits your needs, id advise getting a monitor tree style armature for any desktop monitors, which will free up a lot of desk-space for things like tablets.
I have a 7'×2.5' electronic standing desk with a 2 arm monitor tree, freestanding tablet, plus camera monopod

For me my drawing tablet is a 22' XpPen, so it has monitor mounts on the back.
So I got myself one of these, and adjust it accordingly so Im not shrimping when Im drawing
I dont normally trust compression clamps myself, and havent found any reliable one thats good
Besides using a mounted arm, could always opt for using a small monitor stand with a tablet kick up

(I'm sorry, I just never liked drawing on a tablet)
Just have yet to find one that is durable enough to last a long while.
