This movie ignited something in me that I didn't know I needed. It was so much fun & the sountrack is frequently playing. For some odd reason when I listen to the main theme, I tend to think of a 70s Spidey caper. It's really solid through and through! Wish they made a sequel, but love it all still

2. Angel's Egg; I'm about to make some folks disappointed 😅. It didn't really feature many of the things I personally want from a story, but that's okay cause it was clearly excelling in its niche judging from my friends' glowing reactions. I'm glad to have at least experienced it.

Angel's Egg is cool but it's a very personal, slow, brooding and obtuse kind of story. You could shave a few minutes off the runtime and if you have no familiarity with Christianity the themes and imagery won't land. I feel bad because I love this film but it's so niche that it's hard to recommend.

It felt that way which is why I can't really critique it! I did think it was well-made, but the characters are so symbolic and the pacing so slow and focused on ambience that it's hard to get into unless you really enjoy art with those aspects.

3. First time seeing Happy Gilmore. Definitely the best Adam Sandler comedy I've seen so far even if much of the humor is a dude screaming and throwing his club around. I can see why this is a favourite.

How many Adam Sandler Comedies have you seen? (Have you watched Anger Management. or Billy Madison. Happy Gilmore is probably the tamest of comedies in his comedy films least in my opinion, but the definitely a good one. up there with Anger Management And Billy Madison as the ones I enjoy)

Grown ups was eh to me, and haven't seen hubie halloween myself. any good?

50 Crazy Dates has some moments but the story is kinda iffy. but hey love is love. xD

5. 4th time seeing Tokyo Drift. The OST bumps.
6. Wolfwalkers- I found it cool that certain characters kept their sketch lines as a thematic thing.
7. BS's Dracula- Goths were eating in the 90s.
8. Saturday Night- Without my friend filling us in on SNL lore, this would've been incomprehensible.

10. The Apothecary Diaries: WE'LL DO SHOWS TOO! I loved this anime. Maomao is such a fun and likeable protag. Excited to watch through S2 once its done airing!

11. Land of the Lustrous- Took time for it to hook me, and now I'm sad there's only one season! (will read sometime ofc)
12. Rocky 4- Director's Cut. I didn't get to see the robot :( fun movie though!
13. Assault on Precinct 13- Slowly finishing Carpenter's filmography. Great movie!

With the problem being that many people who actually know all that stuff really don't like the liberties taken with the characterizations of several people, especially Kaufman and Henson.
