It isn’t “elitist” to advocate for personal freedom, reproductive rights, freedom from religion, freedom to love who you love, read what you want to read, live openly trans, stop gun violence. It isn’t elitist to think you’re a self-deluded fool to believe the opposite. Maybe bad messaging.
