It’s real (if you registered you will receive this email) They want to confirm identities as there were people who registered pets, non existent people etc with the intent to sabotage the race . This is a good thing despite the extra effort
Yeah, this is exactly the issue. In the olden days, (last time) we had online memberships but all the members were verified and called by the party and other candidates several times, or verified in person by door knocking, or being compared to other lists (long time Liberals, people who took signs
And so on, but Elections Canada lists are out of date right now, (many new immigrants have become citizens, and many people have moved recently, apartments are out of date etc)
