Recording the pod pre valentines tomorrow! During these trying times, let’s remind ourselves, what do we ❤️ about Spurs? @dannykellywords.bsky.social @jackpittbrooke.bsky.social @jaydmharris.bsky.social @jamestmaw.bsky.social

Spurs is the partner who doesn’t give back, lets you down, breaks your heart, but you still fall in love again every time you walk up those steps in the South Stand
Easy, no matter if it's good times or bad, it brings me and my son together. We get to watch, cheer or grumble (often all three within a half) and still know that no matter what we'll always be Spurs.
If @michaelkiwanuka is not climaxing his set at "End of the Green Man," festival this year, with a Donny Hathaway version of Vibes Roller Coaster, then I want all of my money back, for everything, ever. (Apologies to those who saw this on twix.)
I love that we are daring to be different with our style of play, what’s the point in just being like everyone else, I just wish we’d get some good luck with injuries and we can see it more often.
I pressed on a bruise deciding to rewatch the Amazon "All or Nothing" Spurs doco. I was drawn to the fact that in the 19/20 season the key narrative was the injury riddled season impacting any chance to compete.
So, did Levy et al not learn from this to ensure (a) squad to be adequately bolstered to offset recurrence and/or (b) deep audit on the medical team and practices around strength and conditioning, and recovery?
I believe that being a Spurs fan is the near perfect sports-following experience:
Maximum jeopardy w/ things like the Champions League final (if only we won), experience the hardships (too often lately) that make the good times worthwhile, and I feel you get to maintain your indie credentials 💞
Generally Tottenham are good people. We're taken advantage of by the media, club, league, players, rivals, darts, music industry, dulux dog, specsavers, dominoes, everyone. The world is a terrible place but generally...we're not as bad.
After hearing Vibes Rollercoaster I had to restrain myself from buying a red 1966 Chevy Impala convertible--the only acceptable vehicle in which to play this song--because I'm in a loving and monogamous relationship and can't afford to attract that many ladies at this age.
