They haven't saved ANY money. Every penny they have taken from employee salaries will have been spent, many times over, fighting these cases in court and will be more expensive when they have to reinstate people with back pay, just like they do with every debt ceiling gvnmt shutdown.

As ever, the plan for GOP is to make services worse through defunding them then do tax cuts for the wealthy that explode the federal budget, then use that deficit to insist on more cuts. It's just that this time they're doing it with an axe...and not a sharp one (Elpn is as blunt as they come)
