It seems that the policy is still the same : "Note: Back door boarding is not permitted on a bus unless it is operating as a shuttle or on a streetcar route."

All-door boarding on buses was a pandemic era measure that, to my knowledge, has not yet been clawed back by any particular enforcement of the official policy.
