YoYou should really try ZED's VIM mode. I rarely open NeoVIM anymore, I feel pretty comfortable in ZED.

ElixirLS can format code automatically on save so there is no need to configure the external `mix format` command. The same may be true for the other language servers as well.
This is the reason why the author says that @zed.dev has some latency while @vscode.dev does not.

I use Lexical and - at least in my Zed - it doesn’t respect the project’s formatter.exs. Configuring the format command fixed this for me.

Oh that makes sense! In the past I had some trouble with Lexical HEEx formatting on VSCode. It didn't work reliably and some times introduced weird line breaks.
I went back to ElixirLS until Expert is ready. But I may have to check out Lexical again.
