Well pupils lose a lot from June to October. Olympic standard June, garbage till Oct. Shoter hols but mire often, keep childcare and tourism plane prices down. Take them out of school for breaks as well. World of work does not have 6 week hols unless you a politician

Teach students to a high lvl by June. Summer hols they lose that high lvl. Takes till Oct to get back to June lol. 3 terms is not enough to teach, just hoops jumping for ofsted, tick box. Teach them skills, failed school, jump through hoops premier league.

If children are dysregulated by being at home rather than at school then surely they should be looking at what can be done to support families instead of pushing it back onto schools and teachers. Again. There’s a bigger issue here that’s being ignored all the time
