"Bioshock Infinite" has some truly transcendent set-pieces and I strongly endorse playing it because of them, especially when it comes to the "era-ready" covers of pop songs.
I found a cheap collection of all the games and I’m going to keep trying because they seem cool and fun, I just suck at most games made after the 90s 😵💫
WeMod makes an easy to use one install trainer for most making it possible to experience the game without the struggle (I endorse this way of playing to enjoy "the game" without the frustration when skill elides success)
I can’t imagine the reason you wouldn’t want to play a game about how *checks notes* unchecked capitalism and lack of ethics (and over abundance of a tool that is wildly misused) can ruin a society.
I didn't play BioShock for years just because of the Big Daddies alone. I finally bit the bullet and did and...it still scared me 😭. BUT it's worth it for the narrative and some cool powers to play with.
Bio shock is one of my all time favorites! It’s understandable for sure. Scary on multiple notes 😅 But if you give it another go- It’s definitely worth it! ✨
bioshock was actually the game that helped me with scary stuff, because at first i was terrified and weak and the prey, but by the end of that game i got so powerful and could turn invisible myself that i became the predator, and it really framed the whole experience in a new light
I honestly just don't really vibe with Bioshock. Like a year or two ago I bought a bundle of the Bioshock games on my switch for like 10 bucks and I just haven't been able to get into it.
Yup. I used to watch my friend play it 20 yrs ago and wanted to try it myself and I LOVE spooky shit but wasn’t ready for how anxious I’d feel in the middle of the action. Maybe I’ll just have that friend over to play it so I can just watch
I started with the 3rd one. It's not as spooky but it got me involved into the story. You're fighting people and not drug addicted monsters (or Adam addicted I forget what it's called)
The 3 games together write a circular story that winds itself back around. It's a very well written story.
If you started with the first one, it is indeed scary. The first time I encountered a big daddy I just hide under something and wait forever for him to leave xD
Try #Threashold, a game made by a solo dev, it’s awesome and have a good atmosphere. ^^
Bioshock starts out pretty scary, I'll give you that! But it has one of the most satisfying upgrade systems AND endings... now... Would you kindly cast bees at this splicer?
If you have consoles for any of the other Kirby games, they're all quite fun. I especially enjoyed Kirby's Return to Dreamland for the Wii but they're all very cute
Ahhh Bioshock is a classic! But yes, twas a challenge! Kirby is so fun! I second normalize sticking with games you enjoy and don't cause you stress and trauma. It's great some people can jive. But not everyone can! Nintendo games are challenging on their own, anyways.

OK, it is a little violent and scary, I'll give you that. ☹️
Bioshock is top 5 games for me since it came out, yes I am old, and replaying it now in all this it hits like a truck.
I screamed and threw the controller, I nearly lost the TV and the PlayStation.
