Woodstock - lovely shops, very arty and Cotswolds, and you can walk around the grounds of Blenheim Palace without having to buy a ticket if you go in through one of the public footpaths.

yeah all the locals use the WW gate and walk their dogs. it's a really nice walk and loads of nice cafes and pubs in Woodstock
