I find it funny I had friends who were SUPER confident I wasn't going to figure out which characters in Wicked were gonna end up as the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion given that I hadn't seen the musical. But like...I figured out the first two pretty quickly XD - ThreadSky

The only one I DIDN'T figure out initially was the Lion, which is funny cuz he was arguably the most obvious.

Do people think I don't pay attention to lyrics that were clearly placed in the songs to go "THIS GUY BECOMES THIS CHARACTER! NOTE IT!"

Yeah, I watched the movie first and pieced together who the Lion was once I had a chance to think about it. Otherwise, this being the first time I'd heard most of the songs, any foreshadowing in the lyrics was going to go right over my head!

In fairness, I think I was vaguely aware of this fact.

Keep in mind, I was in high school when the show's popularity peaked, so between the monologues and songs performed in drama and choir classes, I got the gist of the plot indirectly lol
